Geonosian Zombie
sw0382 · Star Wars
Star Wars: The Clone Wars · 2012 (Debuted in set 9491 Geonosian Cannon)

Figure ID
sw0382
Theme
Star Wars
Year Released
2012 (Debuted in set 9491 Geonosian Cannon)
Rarity
Uncommon. Exclusive to a single set released in 2012, making it harder to find than standard Geonosians but not quite at 'rare' status yet.
Head
Unique molded Dark Bluish Gray Geonosian head with elongated snout and insectoid features. It lacks the standard Geonosian eye printing to represent its undead, 'zombie' state from the Clone Wars series.
Torso
Dark Bluish Gray torso with detailed printing of Geonosian carapace, featuring sand yellow and dark orange accents. The printing includes skeletal/segmented armor patterns and a central circular gem or organ detail.
Legs
Dark Bluish Gray legs with sand yellow and dark orange printing on the hips and upper legs to continue the insectoid armor pattern found on the torso.
Accessories
Typically supplied with a Geonosian sonic blaster (a translucent bright green 1x1 round plate and a black nozzle/stud shooter assembly in modern sets, or a specialized blaster mold). The figure in the image is missing its wings (Trans-Black insectoid wing piece 92224).
Color Scheme
Primary: Dark Bluish Gray; Accents: Sand Yellow, Dark Orange, and Black. This monochromatic scheme reflects the character's 'undead' monochromatic appearance in the 'Legacy of Terror' episode.
Printing Details
High-quality pad printing on the torso front and back, and the front of the legs. The alignment is consistent with 2012-era standards, featuring crisp lines on the tan/sand armor plates.
Variants
Standard Geonosian (sw0320) which has wings and pupils; Geonosian Pilot (sw0381) with different torso printing; Geonosian Warrior (sw1135) with updated 2021 printing.
Condition Notes
Common wear points include the neck joint where the head mold meets the torso and the thin plastic of the wing attachment (not present here). Check for bite marks on the soft-plastic head mold.
Estimated Value
Used (Complete with wings): $7 - $12; Used (Incomplete as pictured): $4 - $6; New: $15 - $20. Values vary based on the presence of the fragile wings.
Price (New)
Included in set 9491 (Geonosian Cannon) which retailed for $19.99 USD in 2012, containing 4 minifigures.
Compatible Sets
Primary set: 9491 Geonosian Cannon (2012).
Character Background
Appearing in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars episode 'Legacy of Terror,' these are Geonosian warriors reanimated by Brain Worms controlled by Queen Karina the Great in the catacombs of Geonosis.
Design Notes
The use of a pupil-less head mold was a clever way for LEGO to distinguish the 'Zombie' variant from the standard 'Drone' variants without creating an entirely new head mold.
Similar Minifigures
Geonosian (sw0320), Geonosian with Wings (sw0078), Geonosian Pilot (sw0381), Poggle the Lesser (sw0474).
Collectibility
Moderate. It is a niche 'army builder' figure for fans of the Clone Wars series and collectors of the obscure species variants in the Star Wars galaxy.
History
Launched during the peak of The Clone Wars TV series popularity. This version represented the first and only time LEGO has produced a 'zombified' version of this species.
Interesting Facts
Despite being called a 'Zombie' by fans and the show, the official LEGO description often simply referred to them as Geonosians, though the lack of eye printing confirms the character's undead status.
Display Suggestions
Best displayed in a Geonosis-themed MOC using dark tan plates, or alongside Commander Gree and Barriss Offee to recreate the scene from the Proxima cave system.
Modification Potential
Excellent for custom horror-themed Star Wars builds. The head is easily swappable with other Geonosians to create varied 'infected' poses.
Overall Assessment
A unique and spooky variant of a classic Star Wars species. While the figure in the image is missing its wings and accessories, the torso and head printing appear well-preserved.
