Wolfpack Renegade (with Eyepatch)
cas001 · Castle
Wolfpack · 1992 (Debuted in set 6075 Wolfpack Tower)

Figure ID
cas001
Theme
Castle
Year Released
1992 (Debuted in set 6075 Wolfpack Tower)
Rarity
Uncommon/Rare. While produced for several years, the Wolfpack sub-theme was smaller than the Black Knights or Lion Knights, making complete figures in good condition highly sought after.
Head
Classic yellow skin tone with 'Eyepatch and Stubble' print. Features the standard '0' dimple smile under the eye. The headgear is a brown cowl/hood (Part 30381).
Torso
Brown torso with Wolfpack emblem (a grey wolf's head inside a shield-shaped border). Features black arms and yellow hands (representing gloves/human skin variation). Back is unprinted, as was standard for the era.
Legs
Black legs with a red hip piece. No printing is present on the legs or hips.
Accessories
Includes a Brown Spear (Part 4497) and a Wolfpack Shield (Part 3846p47). The shield features a grey wolf head on a black background with a brown border; this accessory is a primary value-driver for the figure.
Color Scheme
Primary colors are Brown and Black, with a Red accent at the waist and Yellow for the head/hands. This earthy palette distinguished the Wolfpack outlaws from the primary colorful knight factions.
Printing Details
Pad printing on the head and torso front. The alignment is typical for early 90s vintage production. The shield is also pad-printed. Detail is high for the era, specifically the textured 'stubble' on the face.
Variants
Known variants include cas002, which features identical clothing but has a standard 'classic smiley' face instead of the eyepatch/stubble face.
Condition Notes
Prone to 'torso cracks' on the sides under the armpits. The brown plastic of this era can become brittle. The shield's handle is a common point of failure (snapping), and the silver/grey print on the shield often scratches.
Estimated Value
Used Complete: $35.00 - $55.00 | New/Mint: $80.00+ | Individual Shield: $10.00 - $15.00. (Values in USD).

Character Background
The Wolfpack was LEGO's third major 'bandit' faction, following the Forestmen. They were portrayed as outlaws or renegades residing in tactical, rocky towers, often operating as thieves or mercenaries in the Castle lore.
Design Notes
The Wolfpack emblem is one of the most iconic in LEGO Castle history. The use of a brown cowl instead of a helmet emphasized their status as rangers/outlaws rather than formal military soldiers.
Similar Minifigures
Forestmen, Dark Forest members, and the 2024 Series 25 Collectible Minifigure 'Vampire Knight' or the 'Wolfpack' remake in the Medieval Town Square (10332).
Collectibility
High. Vintage Castle collectors frequently 'army build' Wolfpack members. Due to their limited run (1992-1993), they have appreciated significantly in value over the last decade.
History
Launched in 1992 to provide an antagonist faction for the Black Knights. The Wolfpack was a short-lived line but had a massive impact on the 'outlaw' aesthetic in LEGO sets.
Interesting Facts
The Wolfpack logo was officially brought back in 2024 in the Icons series, which has caused a massive surge in demand for these original 1992 versions.
Display Suggestions
Best displayed in a wooded or rocky vignette. Pairs perfectly with the classic 6075 Wolfpack Tower or the 2022 Lion Knights' Castle (10305). Use UV-protected cases to prevent the brown torso from fading.
Modification Potential
Excellent for MOCs (My Own Creations) regarding Robin Hood themes or medieval bandits. Parts are easily swap-able with Forestmen to create a diverse band of outlaws.
Overall Assessment
An absolute classic of the 'Golden Age' of LEGO Castle. High quality, iconic aesthetic, and excellent investment potential. A 'must-have' for any serious medieval LEGO collector.
