Rarity
Uncommon to Rare. While it was in a retail set, that set had a relatively short shelf life and this specific suit variant has never been re-released, making it highly desirable for Spider-Verse collectors.
Head
Solid black head with neon green large eye printing. No dual-sided printing. The mask design is based on the 'Big Time' stealth suit from the comics.
Torso
Black torso featuring a large neon green stylized spider emblem that extends from the chest to the waist. Mechanical/circuitry line detailing in neon green. Back printing includes the continuation of the spider legs.
Legs
Black legs with bright green line printing on the hips and front of the shins, continuing the 'stealth glow' aesthetic of the suite.
Accessories
Typically comes with standard translucent white web blast elements in its original set, though none are shown in the image. No unique cloth or molded accessories.
Color Scheme
Strictly Black and Neon Green (Lime), mimicking the 'Omni-Harmonic' glow of the suit as seen in the Marvel comics.
Printing Details
High-contrast pad printing. The neon green ink is quite thick and vibrant to stand out against the black plastic. Details are minimalist but sharp, focusing on the glowing lines.
Variants
This is the only official LEGO version of the 'Big Time' Stealth suit. It is distinct from the 'Spider-Man Stealth Suit' from Far From Home (sh570), which is grey/black.
Condition Notes
Prone to visible scratches on the black plastic. The neon green printing can sometimes show 'bleed-through' where the black plastic shows through the light ink if the coat was thin. Check for arm cracks which are common in mid-2010s black torsos.
Estimated Value
New/Mint: $25-$35 USD; Used: $15-$22 USD. Value has remained stable with a slight upward trend due to the popularity of unique Spider-Man variants.
Price (New)
Originally available in set 76037 which retailed for $39.99 USD in 2015.
Compatible Sets
76037: Rhino and Sandman Villain Team-up (2015).
Character Background
Based on the 'Big Time' story arc where Peter Parker creates a suit that can warp light and sound to become invisible, specifically to combat the new Hobgoblin's sonic screams.
Design Notes
A very faithful translation of the comic book source material. One of the few times LEGO used such a striking two-tone high-contrast neon palette for a superhero.
Similar Minifigures
Spider-Man 2099 (sh539), Spider-Man Noir (sh612), and Miles Morales (sh190) share the dark aesthetic.
Collectibility
High. Completionist Spider-Man collectors consider this a cornerstone figure. It is the only 'Big Time' variant produced by LEGO.
History
Released during the height of the Ultimate Spider-Man animated series era of LEGO Marvel, though this specific design pulled more from comic book lore than the cartoon.
Interesting Facts
In the comics, this suit can also glow orange (to protect against sonic attacks), but LEGO chose the more iconic green 'stealth' mode for this figure.
Display Suggestions
Looks best in a 'Hall of Armor' style Spider-Suit display or on a black baseplate under UV lighting to make the neon green pop.
Modification Potential
Excellent for 'Spider-Verse' MOCs. The torso is often used by customizers to create other glow-in-the-dark themed heroes or tech-based villains.
Overall Assessment
A standout 10/10 Spider-Man variant. It offers a unique visual break from the standard red-and-blue figures and represents a specific, beloved comic era perfectly.
