Rarity
Rare: Exclusive to a single, high-priced Ultimate Collector Series (UCS) style set. It has not been released in smaller, more affordable battle packs.
Head
Dual-molded Stormtrooper helmet with red markings (Coruscant Guard pattern). Underneath is a standard light flesh 'Clone Trooper' head (angry expression).
Torso
White torso with Stormtrooper armor printing; features red 'Shock Trooper' shoulder/chest markings. Back is also printed with thermal detonator and utility belt. Red arms with black hands.
Legs
White legs with white hips. Detailed printing on the front of the legs showing red knee protectors and armor scuffing. No side printing.
Accessories
Usually comes with a standard black medium blaster (E-11). Note: The figure in the image is missing its weapon.
Color Scheme
Primary white and red (Imperial Shock Trooper colors) with black accents for the visor, vents, and waist tech.
Printing Details
High-fidelity pad printing. The red stripes on the helmet are crisp, and the torso features fine grey line work for the armor plating.
Variants
This is the 'detailed' version with the 2019 dual-molded helmet. A simpler version (sw0603) existed in 2014 with a different helmet mold and printing style.
Condition Notes
Check for 'mismolding' on the dual-molded helmet (the black visor area). Red ink on white plastic can sometimes show 'bleed' or scratches more easily than black.
Estimated Value
Used: $45 - $60 USD; New/Mint: $65 - $80 USD. Values fluctuate based on the popularity of 'The Mandalorian' and availability of set 75290.
Price (New)
Set 75290 (Mos Eisley Cantina) retailed for $349.99 USD. The cost-per-figure in that set was high given the 21-minifigure lineup.
Compatible Sets
75290 Mos Eisley Cantina (Master Builder Series).
Character Background
Imperial Shock Troopers were elite stormtroopers tasked with high-security garnisons, notably on Coruscant. This specific version appears in The Mandalorian Season 1.
Design Notes
Utilizes the 'new' 2019 dual-molded helmet which cannot rotate easily due to its size but provides a more accurate cinematic silhouette compared to older molds.
Similar Minifigures
sw0603 (2014 Shock Trooper), sw0997 (Imperial Stormtrooper - Dual Molded), sw1031 (Shadow Trooper).
Collectibility
High. Since it is exclusive to a massive, expensive set, collectors who don't want to spend $350 on a cantina often buy this figure individually, driving secondary market prices.
History
Shock Troopers first appeared in LEGO in 2005 (Episode III). This version represents the evolution of the Imperial iteration based on Disney-era Star Wars media.
Interesting Facts
Despite being a 'Coruscant Guard,' this figure is included in a Tatooine-based set because the character appeared in a flashback/remnant capacity in 'The Mandalorian'.
Display Suggestions
Display alongside other 'Mandoverse' figures like Moff Gideon or Remnant Stormtroopers. Use a clear acrylic stand to highlight the leg printing.
Modification Potential
Great for MOCs involving 'The Siege of Mandalore' or Imperial Remnant bases. The red arms are highly sought after for custom trooper designs.
Overall Assessment
A top-tier Imperial variant. The dual-molding and exclusive printing make it a standout for Star Wars completionists. Rating: 9/10.
