Rarity
Uncommon currently, but highly sought after. While mass-produced, it is the 'chase' figure of the series due to the return of the LEGO goat animal mold.
Head
Single-sided classic-style face with a kind expression, white beard, and crow's feet; comes with a Dark Tan flat cap piece.
Torso
Dark Green torso printed with a sheepskin-style vest, a white undershirt, and a small pouch on the belt. Detailed back printing continues the vest pattern.
Legs
Olive Green legs with brown boot printing and hip detailing to represent rural/shepherd attire.
Accessories
The legendary LEGO Goat in white with dark tan horns, a wooden-style shepherd's crook (staff), and a dark tan cheese slope representing a wheel of goat cheese.
Color Scheme
Earth tones: Dark Green, Olive Green, and Dark Tan. Accented by the stark White of the goat.
Printing Details
High-quality pad printing on torso and legs. The torso features intricate texture for the fleece vest. Head printing is crisp and evocative of a weathered outdoorsman.
Variants
No official LEGO variants of this specific figure exist, though the goat itself is a reissue of the mold first seen in the 2011 Kingdoms Mill Village Raid set (7189).
Condition Notes
The new cardboard boxes make the accessories prone to rattling; ensure the goat's horns are not stressed. Common wear will occur on the staff's grip points.
Estimated Value
$10 - $15 USD (New/Boxed); $8 - $12 USD (Loose). The goat alone often carries 70% of the figure's total market value.
Price (New)
$4.99 (Retail price of one blind box).
Compatible Sets
71045 LEGO Minifigures Series 25 (Single Box), 66763 (6-Pack Box).
Character Background
A humble shepherd/herder. The figure is a direct tribute to the LEGO fan community's long-standing obsession with the 'retired' goat mold which hadn't been seen for 13 years.
Design Notes
The primary design achievement is the revival of the goat mold (part 95341pb01). The herder's design is intentionally understated to allow the animal to be the star.
Similar Minifigures
Kingdoms Peasant (2011), Series 15 Farmer, Series 24 Carrot Mascot (for the farm vibe).
Collectibility
Extremely high. This is considered an 'army builder' for medieval and farm MOC enthusiasts specifically because of the goat accessory.
History
Represents a milestone in LEGO fan service; LEGO designers publicly acknowledged the 'cult of the goat' by bringing it back via the CMF line.
Interesting Facts
The QR code on the bottom of the box (as seen in the image) '616R6' identifies the contents as the Goat Herd without needing to open the packaging, a feature added to help collectors avoid blind-buying duplicates.
Display Suggestions
Ideal for medieval village dioramas, farm layouts, or displayed on a standard CMF stand. Pairs perfectly with the 10332 Medieval Town Square.
Modification Potential
Excellent for 'purist' medieval customs. The head and torso are perfect for creating generic villagers or monks.
Overall Assessment
9/10. An essential figure for any collector, primarily for its accessory, but supported by a solid and versatile minifigure design.
