Year Released
2019 / 2020: First appeared in set 75256 Kylo Ren's Shuttle (2019) and later in the Sith Troopers Battle Pack 75266 (2020). Released during the conclusion of the Sequel Trilogy.
Rarity
Uncommon: While it was available in a mass-produced battle pack, the figure is exclusive to the Episode IX sub-theme which had a relatively short retail shelf life compared to other trilogy sets.
Head
Standard red Sith Trooper helmet mold with fine black lines for the visor and breathing vents. Under the helmet is a 'standard' angry clone facial expression (light flesh tone).
Torso
Red torso with intricate black and dark red armor plating prints. Front features a unique triangular chest symbol and specialized Sith Eternal texturing. Back printing depicts matching armor plates and oxygen pack cooling vents. Arms are solid red; hands are black.
Legs
Red legs with red hips. Front leg printing features knee plating and thigh armor grooves that mirror the torso pattern. No side or back printing on the legs.
Accessories
Standard black Short Blaster (or 'Stud Shooter' depending on the set it was pulled from). The image shows a classic Short Blaster (Part 58247). No cloth or neck gear.
Color Scheme
Monochromatic bright red with black accent lines and dark red shading. This 'Red Stormtrooper' look is iconic to the Final Order.
Printing Details
High-fidelity pad printing. The fine black lines on the torso and legs are very crisp to denote the ridges and vents in the armor. Features significant detail improvements over standard First Order Stormtroopers.
Variants
None for the standard soldier, though it is often confused with sw1075 (Sith Jet Trooper) which features a different helmet/torso and a jetpack.
Condition Notes
Prone to heel cracks and torso cracks around the arm joints if played with heavily. The red plastic can show white stress marks more easily than white plastic if bent. Check helmet for paint rubbing on the visor line.
Estimated Value
Used: $4.00 - $6.00 USD; New: $7.00 - $9.00 USD. Prices are stable due to the high volume produced for the battle pack.
Price (New)
Most commonly obtained in Set 75266 (Sith Troopers Battle Pack) which retailed for $14.99 USD and included 4 minifigures.
Compatible Sets
75256 Kylo Ren's Shuttle (2019), 75266 Sith Troopers Battle Pack (2020), 75279 Star Wars Advent Calendar 2020.
Character Background
Specially bred and trained soldiers of the Sith Eternal. They were part of the Final Order fleet on Exegol, serving under the resurrected Emperor Palpatine in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
Design Notes
Features a unique helmet mold that differs slightly from the standard First Order trooper, incorporating vertical 'grill' textures. It represents LEGO's shift toward highly textured armor printing.
Similar Minifigures
sw1075 Sith Jet Trooper, sw0667 First Order Stormtrooper, sw1138 Imperial Armored Marauder Stormtrooper, sw0079 Royal Guard.
Collectibility
Moderate: Essential for army builders and completionists of the Sequel Trilogy. Its striking color makes it a favorite for display, though it is not a high-appreciating investment piece due to its commonality.
History
Debuted as a flagship figure to build hype for The Rise of Skywalker. It marked the first time a standard trooper-class figure was printed in such a vibrant red since the Royal Guards (who were not armored soldiers).
Interesting Facts
Despite their prominent marketing and cool design, Sith Troopers had very little screen time in the film. The fine ridges on the armor were inspired by ancient Sith aesthetic traditions.
Display Suggestions
Best displayed in large 'ranks' or a phalanx to mimic the army scenes on Exegol. Looks excellent against dark grey or black backgrounds which make the red plastic pop.
Modification Potential
Excellent for custom 'Crimson' Imperial units or Royal Guard troopers. The helmet is highly sought after by MOC builders for creating custom Sith Lord entourage figures.
Overall Assessment
A visually stunning minifigure with top-tier printing. While common, its unique aesthetic makes it a standout in any Star Wars collection. Highly recommended for fans of the Sequel Trilogy.
