Figure ID

Theme
Star Wars
Year Released
2012. Debuted in the set 9491 Geonosian Cannon during the final years of the original 'Clone Wars' style minifigure design era.
Rarity
Uncommon. While only appearing in one retail set, the set was relatively affordable at the time, making the figure accessible but now increasingly sought after as it is discontinued.
Head
Standard Light Flesh 'Clone Trooper' head with 'Clone Wars' stylized large eyes, determined mouth, and brown eyebrows. This specific head print was used for many named and unnamed clones from 2010 to 2013.
Torso
White torso with Phase 1 armor printing. Features olive green/sand green markings unique to Commander Gree, with a dark bluish gray chest plate detailing and sand green arms with black hands.
Legs
Plain white legs with a black hip piece. This version lacks leg printing, which was common for most non-arc troopers during this era of Star Wars sets.
Accessories
Includes a unique Phase 1 helmet with olive green top printing and two small Republic insignias. Usually equipped with a black DC-15S blaster carbine (not pictured).
Color Scheme
Primary white and black with distinct Sand Green (often appearing olive-ish) accents on the helmet and arms, reflecting the camouflage needed for the 41st Elite Corps.
Printing Details
High-quality pad printing on the torso (front and back) and specialized helmet printing. The helmet print is particularly notable for the crispness of the tiny Republic cogs at the top.
Variants
This is the Phase 1 variant. A later Phase 2 variant (sw0528) was released in 2014 with full camouflage printing and more detailed leg and arm prints.
Condition Notes
The helmet printing is prone to wear on the top 'fin' and the republic logos. Check for torso cracks under the arms and yellowing of the white plastic if exposed to UV light.
Estimated Value
Current market value for a used complete figure is approximately $15 - $22. New/In-box figures (within the set) can drive higher premiums. Individual parts like the helmet often sell for $8-$10 alone.
Price (New)
The original set (9491) retailed for $19.99 USD in 2012. Considering the set contained 4 minifigures, the initial 'value' of the figure was roughly $5.00.
Compatible Sets
Set 9491: Geonosian Cannon (2012).
Character Background
CC-1004, nicknamed 'Gree', was the clone commander of the 41st Elite Corps. He served under Jedi Master Luminara Unduli and later Yoda during the Battle of Kashyyyk.
Design Notes
This figure represents the transition between simplified P1 clones and the highly detailed P2 clones. It uses the 'large-eye' Clone Wars aesthetic that LEGO moved away from in 2014.
Similar Minifigures
sw0528 Phase 2 Commander Gree, sw0298 Clone Trooper (Phase 1) with large eyes, and sw0438 Sergeant Clone Trooper.
Collectibility
High demand among Prequel and Clone Wars fans. While not the most expensive clone, it is considered an essential 'Commander' for a complete collection.
History
First released in early 2012 as part of the winter wave of Star Wars sets, this was the first time Commander Gree was produced in his Phase 1 'Sand Green' accented armor.
Interesting Facts
Gree is one of the few named clones to feature a unique helmet print that incorporates the 41st Elite Corps logos in such a small scale during the 2012 era.
Display Suggestions
Best displayed alongside Luminara Unduli (sw0310) or Barriss Offee (sw0379) to recreate scenes from the Battle of Geonosis.
Modification Potential
Excellent for 'purist' customs; the sand green arms are highly valued for creating custom 41st Elite Corps camouflage troops.
Overall Assessment
A solid 8/10 for collectors. It captures the unique look of the character effectively despite the lack of leg printing, which was standard for its time.
