Head
Yellow head with brown unibrow and mustache. This is specifically the head of a 'Loki Minion' or 'Chitauri' from the 2012 Marvel sets (part 3626bpb0716). It is dual-sided, featuring a standard face and a Chitauri alien face on the reverse.
Torso
Dark brown/Black Jedi robes with a dark brown utility belt and silver buckle. This is the official torso for Anakin Skywalker (sw0139) from the Revenge of the Sith sets. One arm is black, one hand is light flesh (representing his regular hand).
Legs
Dark brown legs with dark brown hips. These feature dark brown boot printing on the lower half, specific to the 2005 EP3 Anakin/Obi-Wan figures.
Accessories
Missing. Originally should have its specific hair piece (part 3901 or 62810) and a blue lightsaber with a chrome or silver hilt. The figure in the photo currently has no accessories.
Color Scheme
A mix of Dark Brown, Black, and Yellow. The torso and legs are predominantly dark earth tones, while the yellow head creates a stark, incorrect contrast for this character.
Printing Details
High quality pad printing on the torso representing the folded Jedi tunics and utility belt. The head has crisp printing for the mustache and eyebrows, but is anachronistic to the body.
Variants
The torso belongs to the 'Light Flesh' head transition era (2005). The head is a 2012 variant. There is no official variant that looks like this; it is a custom assembly.
Condition Notes
The torso shows some minor play wear on the belt printing. The right arm (black) has some scratching. The head print looks vibrant with no fading. Check for hairline cracks on the back of the heels and the sides of the torso near the arm sockets.
Estimated Value
Torso + Legs: $8-$12 USD. Head: $1-$2 USD. Total as shown: $9-$14 USD. If authentic 2005 Anakin sw0139 with correct hair/head, value is $20-$30 USD.
Price (New)
The torso/legs came in sets like 7251 Darth Vader Transformation ($6.99) and 7257 Ultimate Lightsaber Duel ($29.99). The head came in 6867 Loki's Cosmic Cube Escape ($19.99).
Compatible Sets
7251 (Darth Vader Transformation), 7257 (Ultimate Lightsaber Duel), 6867 (Loki's Cosmic Cube Escape), 6868 (Hulk's Helicarrier Breakout).
Character Background
This figure is a 'mismatch.' The body belongs to Anakin Skywalker during his fall to the Dark Side in Episode III. The head belongs to a Chitauri foot soldier from the 2012 Avengers film (the mustache/eyebrow side is his human disguise/mask).
Design Notes
The torso represents the first major detail upgrade for Jedi figures in the mid-2000s. The head represents the transition into more expressive, character-specific faces in the early 2010s.
Similar Minifigures
sw0120 (Anakin with Cape), sw0138 (Anakin with Light-up Lightsaber), sh0011 (Chitauri soldier).
Collectibility
Moderate for the parts alone. As a complete figure, it has low collectibility because the parts are mismatched from different eras and themes.
History
The body is from the legendary 2005 Revenge of the Sith wave, which saw LEGO transition from yellow skin to flesh tones for licensed themes. Ironically, this figure has been reverted to a yellow head by the owner.
Interesting Facts
The head used here is one of the few instances where LEGO used a 'human' face with a mustache to represent a generic alien minion's mask. The torso is often sought after for custom Darth Vader (unmasked) builds.
Display Suggestions
It is recommended to source the correct 'Light Flesh' Anakin head and hair piece to restore the figure to its original sw0139 value. Alternatively, it serves as a humorous 'mismatched' figure in a bin of spare parts.
Modification Potential
Excellent. The dark brown Jedi robes are versatile for many Star Wars MOCs. The Chitauri head is also useful for creating generic civilian background characters in a LEGO city or Marvel scene.
Overall Assessment
This is a Franken-minifigure. While the 2005 Star Wars torso and legs are iconic and moderately valuable to collectors, the 2012 Marvel head makes it non-canonical. Quality of parts is high, but collector value is hindered by lack of original components.
