Variants

Character Background

An original LEGO character designed for the CMF line. He is described as a confused intergalactic tourist who often gets lost while looking for the nearest giant planet or snack.

Design Notes

Significant for its unique head mold which doesn't resemble a standard minifigure 'block' head. The use of mismatched arm colors (Green/Yellow) is a classic 1950s sci-fi trope.

Similar Minifigures

Series 3 Alien (col035), Series 13 Alien Trooper (col200), and various Galaxy Squad aliens.

Collectibility

High for completionists of the CMF line. While not the most expensive figure, it is a staple of early 2010s LEGO creature design.

History

Released during the 'Golden Age' of CMF when LEGO was experimenting heavily with unique molds for creatures and monsters.

Interesting Facts

Despite being called a 'Cyclops', the figure clearly has two eyes; the name likely refers to his alien race rather than his anatomy.

Display Suggestions

Looks best in a retro-sci-fi diner MOC or alongside other Series 6 figures. Keep away from direct sunlight to prevent trans-yellow plastic fading.

Modification Potential

The head mold is popular for Sci-Fi MOCs. The tuxedo torso is a great 'purist' part for formal-wear minifigures.

Overall Assessment

A charming, quirky figure that represents the creative freedom of the CMF line. A must-have for fans of LEGO Space and monster hunters.
