Episode II: Attack of the Clones · 2022 (Released in set 75333 Obi-Wan Kenobi's Jedi Starfighter)

Figure ID
sw1211
Theme
Star Wars
Year Released
2022 (Released in set 75333 Obi-Wan Kenobi's Jedi Starfighter)
Rarity
Uncommon. While exclusive to one set, that set was a mass-retail mid-range set, making the figure accessible but singular in its appearance.
Head
Unique molded Kaminoan head and neck piece in white. Features high-detail printing of almond-shaped black eyes with white pupils, light gray facial contours, and a distinct cranial crest.
Torso
Black torso with white, lavender, and silver printing. Features a decorative Kaminoan collar and belt design with a circular buckle. Arms are black with white hands.
Legs
Features a black 2x2x2 curved slope (dress/skirt element) with printing that continues the silver and lavender robe detailing from the torso.
Accessories
Usually none included specifically for the figure itself in the set, though she is often displayed near the communications console or the Jedi Starfighter.
Color Scheme
Primary colors are White and Black, with secondary accents of Lavender and Metallic Silver.
Printing Details
High-quality pad printing. The alignment between the torso and the curved slope (dress) is critical for visual continuity. Printing on the head mold is exceptionally precise given the organic shape.
Variants
None. This is the first and only official LEGO minifigure of Taun We as of 2024.
Condition Notes
The long, thin neck is a potential stress point. Check for 'neck cracks' where the head sits on the torso stud. The white plastic on the head can show dirt or scuffs more easily than darker colors.
Estimated Value
Used: $12 - $18 USD; New: $20 - $25 USD (Pulled from set). Markets vary based on platform (BrickLink vs. eBay).
Price (New)
Included in set 75333 which retailed for $29.99 USD. The figure accounts for roughly 40-50% of the set's aftermarket value.

Character Background
Taun We is an administrative aide on Kamino who greeted Obi-Wan Kenobi upon his arrival at Tipoca City. She is a Kaminoan, the species responsible for creating the Grand Army of the Republic.
Design Notes
Notable for the unique neck/head mold which was a long-awaited design for Star Wars fans. It utilizes a specialized head-and-neck assembly rather than a standard minifigure head to reach the character's canonical height.
Similar Minifigures
Lama Su (unofficial/custom versions), and other 'skirt' style figures like Princess Leia or various Harry Potter professors.
Collectibility
High. Since she was a 'missing' character for 20 years (2002-2022), she is a vital addition for Prequel Trilogy completionists.
History
Taun We's release marked the 20th anniversary of Attack of the Clones. Fans had requested a Kaminoan figure since the original 2002 wave of AOTC sets.
Interesting Facts
Despite having a unique mold, this figure is taller than a standard minifigure, accurately representing the lanky stature of the Kaminoan species. She is the first official Kaminoan produced by LEGO.
Display Suggestions
Best displayed on a white or translucent blue baseplate to simulate the sterile environment of Tipoca City, alongside Obi-Wan (sw1210) and R4-P17.
Modification Potential
The head piece is highly sought after for MOCs (My Own Creations) involving other Kaminoan characters like Lama Su or Nala Se.
Overall Assessment
9/10. An excellent translation of an alien species into the LEGO form. The unique mold and crisp printing make it a standout figure of the 2022 Star Wars line.
