Theme

Marvel Super Heroes

Year Released

2019 - Debuted in the set 76125 'Iron Man Hall of Armor'. This was during the peak of the Avengers: Endgame movie hype cycle.

Rarity

Uncommon - While not a limited edition, it was exclusive to one specific and popular set. It is considered the most desirable version of the Mark 1 armor released to date.

Head

Standard Light Nougat Tony Stark head with dual printing (smiling/determined expressions) underneath a unique flat silver Iron Man helmet mold with specific Mark 1 eye slit and mouth grill printing.

Torso

Flat Silver torso with detailed mechanical boiler-plate printing. Features a central Arc Reactor in light blue/white and various weld marks, rivets, and exposed wiring to mimic the makeshift nature of the Stark Industries cave-built suit.

Legs

Flat Silver legs with hip and front printing. The printing continues the mechanical paneling and armored plating aesthetic from the torso down to the knee and toe area.

Accessories

Typically paired with trans-orange power blasts (not fully visible but hinted in the back) and sometimes translucent blue pieces for fire extinguishers or tools within the set context.

Color Scheme

Monochromatic Flat Silver base with black line-work and light blue highlights for the Arc Reactor. This mimics the raw steel appearance of the original MCU armor.

Printing Details

High-quality pad printing on the helmet, front torso, back torso, and front of the legs. The alignment is generally tight, though the helmet print can sometimes be slightly off-center on lower-quality batches.

Variants

There was a previous 'Mark 1' style torso in the 2013 Malibu Mansion Attack (sh065), but sh565 (this version) features a much more accurate, dedicated helmet mold and leg printing.

Condition Notes

Silver plastic is prone to 'swirl marks' from the molding process. Common wear points include the silver printing on the helmet and potential neck cracks due to the helmet's tight fit.

Estimated Value

Used: $18.00 - $25.00 | New/Mint: $30.00+. Values fluctuate based on the secondary market demand for Iron Man armors.

Price (New)

Included in set 76125, which retailed for $59.99 USD. The figure alone now commands about 40% of the original total set value.

Compatible Sets

76125 Iron Man Hall of Armor (2019).

Character Background

The Mark 1 is the first suit built by Tony Stark and Ho Yinsen in a cave in Afghanistan to escape the Ten Rings. It is the primitive ancestor to all subsequent Iron Man armors.

Design Notes

LEGO opted for a standard helmet mold rather than a custom 'bucket' head to ensure it fit the Iron Man aesthetic, despite the Mark 1's onscreen helmet being more rounded.

Similar Minifigures

Iron Man Mark 5, Iron Man Mark 41 (Bones), and the original 2013 Mark 42 versions.

Collectibility

High. Completionist Iron Man armor collectors consider this a core 'Hall of Armor' piece. Demand remains steady as it is a foundational MCU character design.

History

For years, fans requested a modern Mark 1. LEGO finally delivered in 2019 as part of the 10th-anniversary celebration of the MCU within the Endgame set wave.

Interesting Facts

The printing on the back includes the crude propulsion jet tanks, which were a key plot point in the first Iron Man film.

Display Suggestions

Best displayed inside a Hall of Armor 'alcove' with blue LED lighting to highlight the silver plastic and the Arc Reactor print.

Modification Potential

Excellent for MOCs. The silver mechanical legs and torso are frequently used by customizers to build other robots or wasteland-style characters.

Overall Assessment

A standout figure of the 2019 Marvel line. It successfully translates the 'scrappy' look of the film into the LEGO aesthetic and is a must-have for Marvel fans.
