Character Background
Aurra Sing is a notorious bounty hunter and assassin active during the Clone Wars. A former Jedi Padawan, she became the guardian of young Boba Fett and worked alongside Cad Bane.
Design Notes
The figure utilizes the 'Clone Wars' style eyes (larger pupils/styling) which was common from 2008-2014 but has since been retired in favor of classic circular eyes.
Similar Minifigures
Cad Bane (sw0285), Embo (sw0307), Sugi (sw0305), and Asajj Ventress (sw0318).
Collectibility
High for Clone Wars completionists as this is the only version of the character ever produced. Potential for value increase if the character reappears in live-action media.
History
Debut in the Winter 2011 wave of Star Wars: The Clone Wars sets. It marked the transition of more obscure bounty hunters entering the LEGO lineup.
Interesting Facts
Aurra Sing had a blink-and-you-miss-it cameo in 'Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace', but this minifigure is based entirely on her 'Clone Wars' animated series design.
Display Suggestions
Display alongside other bounty hunters from the 'Clone Wars' era or inside the 7930 Gunship. Requires a ponytail piece (part 92530) to be aesthetically complete.
Modification Potential
Commonly used for custom Jedi figures due to the unique head print or as the base for more modern Purist Aurra Sing customs using non-animated eyes.
Overall Assessment
A standout figure from the 2011 era with a striking color palette. Highly recommended for Star Wars collectors, though this specific unit requires a replacement hair piece to reach full value.
