Figure ID

Theme
Marvel Super Heroes
Year Released
2012. Debuted in Set 6866 (Wolverine's Chopper Showdown). Released at the height of the early MCU hype, though this was an X-Men-related license.
Rarity
Very Rare. It was only produced in one relatively affordable set which was quickly retired. Due to the high popularity of the character and licensing restrictions, LEGO has not remade a traditional comic-style Deadpool for retail since.
Head
Missing (The complete sh032 features a red masked head with white eyes and black outlines).
Torso
Red with detailed black and brown tactical printing. Features integrated brown utility pouches, two silver rectangular buckles, and black muscle detailing. Back printing mimics the front tactical gear. Red arms and black hands (one arm and both hands missing in image).
Legs
Red with black and silver printed knee pads. The hip joint has black line printing. The printing quality is high-resolution pad printing typical of the 2012 era.
Accessories
Missing (The complete figure originally included two silver katanas and a back-mounted scabbard/neck bracket).
Color Scheme
Primary red with black, brown, and silver/metallic accents. This is a classic comic book-accurate color scheme.
Printing Details
High-quality pad printing on torso (front/back) and legs (front). The alignment on the belt/pouches is critical for value. The 'white' areas in the silver buckles should be crisp.
Variants
Only one official standard retail variant exists (sh032). Other variants include the ultra-rare 'Duckpool' (SDCC 2017) and various bootlegs that often confuse new collectors.
Condition Notes
The pictured specimen is heavily damaged/incomplete (missing head, arm, hands). Common wear includes 'arm cracks' at the pits and silver print rubbing off the knees.
Estimated Value
The torso and legs pictured are worth approximately $60-$80 due to the figure's high demand. A complete used figure sells for $250-$300. A New/Mint figure exceeds $400.
Price (New)
The original set 6866 retailed for $19.99 USD in 2012. A massive ROI for collectors.
Compatible Sets
6866 Wolverine's Chopper Showdown (2012).
Character Background
Wade Wilson, the 'Merc with a Mouth.' A former Special Forces operative turned mercenary with an accelerated healing factor but severe scarring. He is known for breaking the fourth wall.
Design Notes
This figure represents the 'Classic' LEGO Marvel design language before the shift toward more complex, movie-specific molds. The use of brown for the tactile gear provides a nice contrast to the red/black.
Similar Minifigures
Wolverine (sh031), Magneto (sh033), and the various modern Spider-Man variants that utilize similar red/black color blocking.
Collectibility
Extremely high. Deadpool is a 'Grail' figure for most Marvel collectors due to the uniqueness of the character and the lack of modern re-releases.
History
Released in the very first wave of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes sets. It remains one of the most sought-after non-exclusive minifigures in LEGO history.
Interesting Facts
Because the Deadpool film franchise is rated R, LEGO has been hesitant to release new versions of the character in mass-market sets, contributing to this figure's price explosion.
Display Suggestions
Should be displayed in a UV-protected case. Even in this incomplete state, the torso/legs are valuable enough to be used in a custom 'battle-damaged' MOC.
Modification Potential
Great for purist customs or restoring if the buyer can source an authentic head (which alone costs over $100).
Overall Assessment
In its current state (incomplete), it is a valuable part-out piece. As a complete figure, it is a 10/10 in terms of desirability and iconic status.
