Ten Numb

Figure ID

sw0556

Theme

Star Wars

Year Released

2014 in set 75050 (B-Wing)

Rarity

Uncommon to Rare. This specific Sullustan variant appeared only in one set and was replaced by generic A-wing pilots or Nien Nunb in later years.

Head

Unique molded Sullustan head in reddish brown with tan/white printing for the eyes and jowls. Features characteristic large ears and snout. No hair piece is required as the head is a full mold.

Torso

White torso with tan vest printing, showing tactical pockets and a brownish-orange jumpsuit underneath. Arms are dark orange and hands are reddish brown.

Legs

Plain dark orange short-length legs. Note: This figure originally came with standard-length dark orange legs; the short legs in the photo are a part mismatch/replacement.

Accessories

Originally included a small black blaster. This specific unit in the image is missing its weapon and original standard-height legs.

Color Scheme

A mix of white, reddish brown, and dark orange to represent the Rebel Alliance pilot uniform from the Battle of Endor.

Printing Details

High-quality pad printing on the torso (front and back) and head mold. This era of Star Wars figures saw improved detail in vest creases and equipment pouches.

Variants

Ten Numb appeared in white/gray gear in earlier sets (sw0153). This sw0556 version is the updated 2014 design. It is often confused with Nien Nunb (sw0839), who has a red jumpsuit.

Condition Notes

Main concern is 'neck' cracking on the white torso and paint rub on the tip of the molded nose. The short legs in the image are incorrect for the 'sw0556' inventory.

Estimated Value

$25 - $35 USD (Used/Complete). In the current state (incorrect legs, no weapon), value is approximately $18 - $22 USD.

Price (New)

Released in set 75050 which retailed for $49.99 USD in 2014.

Compatible Sets

75050 B-Wing (2014)

Character Background

Ten Numb was a Sullustan pilot who flew a B-wing starfighter for Blue Squadron during the Battle of Endor. He is often recognized as the 'white-suited' Sullustan compared to Nien Nunb.

Design Notes

The head mold is exceptional, capturing the alien features better than early 2000s versions. The dark orange arms provide a nice contrast to the white flight vest.

Similar Minifigures

Nien Nunb (sw0839), B-Wing Pilot (sw0558), and Admiral Ackbar (sw0719).

Collectibility

High. Pilots and unique alien species from the Original Trilogy remain staple items for Star Wars collectors and army builders.

History

First appeared as a 'classic' yellow-head style in 2006 (sw0153) before being revamped with this detailed mold and torso for the 2014 Rebels/Original Trilogy wave.

Interesting Facts

Despite his brief screen time, Ten Numb became a fan favorite through 'B-Wing' merchandise and the expanded universe lore where he served under Hera Syndulla.

Display Suggestions

Best displayed inside a 75050 B-Wing cockpit or on a Rebel Alliance flight deck MOC alongside a standard A-Wing or X-Wing pilot.

Modification Potential

Commonly used for purist customs of other Sullustan characters like Nien Nunb (by swapping the torso for a red one) or generic Sullustan citizens.

Overall Assessment

A fantastic representation of a niche character. However, this specific figure is 'customized' with the wrong legs, which significantly hurts its collector value unless restored to standard height.
