Year Released

2013: Part of the 11th wave of the blind-bag series during a high point for CMF popularity.

Rarity

Uncommon. While mass-produced in the Series 11 blind bags, the Jaguar Warrior was one of the more sought-after 'army builders,' leading to higher demand today.

Head

Yellow skin with a snarl and soul patch; features a dark red and black leopard-mask print around the eyes and top of the head. No hair or headgear is shown, but officially includes an ornate green Jaguar mask piece.

Torso

Yellow torso with 'six-pack' muscle definition, black leopard spots on sides, a turquoise and dark red feathered collar, and arms printed with leopard spots and turquoise bracelets.

Legs

Yellow legs with dark red loincloth print, turquoise triangle patterns, leopard spots on the shins, and three black claw marks on each toe.

Accessories

Officially included a green Jaguar mask (new mold for 2013) and a macuahuitl (Aztec club/sword) with dark brown and light grey detailing. The image shows the figure without these.

Color Scheme

Bright Yellow primary with Dark Red, Turquoise/Medium Azure, and Black accents. Represents traditional Aztec warrior aesthetic.

Printing Details

High-quality pad printing across the head, front torso, arms, and legs. Features significant 360-degree printing on limbs, which was advanced for the 2013 CMF era.

Variants

No direct variants of this specific ID exist, though it is often compared to the Series 7 Aztec Warrior (col07-6).

Condition Notes

Prone to wear on the claw printing on the toes and side-arm leopard spots. Check for 'neck cracks' on the yellow torso and loose hip joints.

Estimated Value

Complete: $12.00 - $18.00. Incomplete (missing mask/weapon, as shown): $5.00 - $8.00. Sealed Bag: $25.00+.

Price (New)

Original MSRP was $2.99 as a random blind bag pull in 2013.

Compatible Sets

Appeared only in set 71002 (Collectible Minifigures Series 11).

Character Background

Inspired by the Aztec 'Ocelotl' or Jaguar Warriors, an elite military order in the Aztec Empire known for their bravery and feline-themed armor.

Design Notes

Notable for being one of the first minifigures to use such extensive animal-pattern arm printing and the introduction of the specialist macuahuitl weapon mold.

Similar Minifigures

Aztec Warrior (Series 7), Ancient Warrior (Series 21), and various jungle-themed explorers.

Collectibility

High. It is a staple for historical character collectors and MOC builders creating ancient civilization dioramas.

History

Followed the success of the Series 7 Aztec Warrior, refining the printing techniques to include arm and toe detail missing from the previous iteration.

Interesting Facts

The weapon included with this figure is one of the most historically accurate LEGO interpretations of an Aztec macuahuitl.

Display Suggestions

Looks best in a shadow box among other Series 11 figures or in a Mesoamerican temple MOC (My Own Creation). Use a 2x3 CMF stand.

Modification Potential

Excellent for custom historical figures; the printed yellow arms and legs are highly valued for fantasy or tribal customs.

Overall Assessment

A standout figure from Series 11 due to its vibrant colors and historical accuracy. Highly recommended for collectors, though the value drops significantly without its unique headgear and weapon.
