Year Released
2015. Released at the tail end of the Legends of Chima theme during the final wave of sets.
Rarity
Uncommon. While not a limited convention exclusive, it appeared in only one LEGO set during the final year of its theme's production, making it harder to find than standard LEGO wolves.
Head
Integrated wolf head mold with sharp, angular features. Features black eye printing, a black nose, visible tan teeth, and three distinct red 'war paint' or scar markings on the right cheek.
Torso
The torso of this animal figure is a solid white mold featuring two mounting studs on the back for riders or accessories. It is a four-legged animal mold with static legs.
Legs
Molded as part of the body. Features a 'walking' pose with the front left paw lifted. The legs are unprinted and solid white.
Accessories
This figure often holds a specialized wolf tail piece (Part 18917) in white with a red tip. In its original set, it was used as a mount for the Worriz minifigure.
Color Scheme
Primary: White. Accents: Red (cheek markings and tail tip), Black (eyes/nose), and Tan (teeth).
Printing Details
Precision pad printing on the face restricted to small areas (eyes, nose, teeth, and cheek marks). High alignment quality typical of mid-2010s LEGO animals.
Variants
This is the white 'Ice' version of the wolf. Other variants of this mold exist in Dark Stone Gray, Black, and Red, used in themes like Minecraft and Elves.
Condition Notes
Prone to yellowing if exposed to UV light. The cheek printing can rub off with heavy play. Check the neck joint and tail connection for stress marks.

$6.00 - $12.00 USD for the wolf body alone. Complete with tail and associated minifigure, the value increases.

Compatible Sets
Set 70222: Tormak's Shadow Blazer.
Character Background
In the Legends of Chima lore, this represents one of the wolves involved in the conflict between the Fire tribes and the Ice Hunters. Specifically, it serves as a mount for the Wolf Tribe leader, Worriz.
Design Notes
This wolf mold was a significant upgrade from the older, blockier LEGO wolves. It features more 'speed' and 'aggression' in its sculpt to fit the Chima aesthetic.
Similar Minifigures
Worriz (loc111), Tormak (loc112), and the various Minecraft wolves which utilize the same base body mold without the cheek printing.
Collectibility
Moderate. High appeal for Chima completionists and collectors of LEGO animals/creatures. Stable value with slight appreciation due to the theme being retired.
History
This mold was introduced in 2015 to modernize the wolf animals in LEGO. It replaced the older 1990s-era wolf and has since become the standard mold for wolves in Minecraft sets.
Interesting Facts
Despite being a 'Wolf' theme character, this specific white version is only found in a set centered around a Panther (Tormak) and a Saber-tooth Tiger vehicle.
Display Suggestions
Best displayed in a battle diorama alongside other Chima Ice or Fire tribe members. Use a transparent 1x2 brick under the lifted paw to create a dynamic running pose.
Modification Potential
Excellent for fantasy MOCs. The white color makes it perfect for Direwolf customs (Game of Thrones) or winter-themed Castle displays.
Overall Assessment
A sharp, well-molded animal figure that captures the unique 'tribal' aesthetic of the Chima era. A must-have for fans of the Wolf Tribe.
