Year Released
2019 - Debuted in the set 76125 Iron Man Hall of Armor during the Avengers: Endgame wave.
Rarity
Uncommon. While exclusive to one specific set, that set was a popular retailer mainstay for several years, making the figure widely circulated but desirable for its unique armor status.
Head
Standard Light Nougat Tony Stark head with a dual-sided print (confident smile / determined look). The helmet is the modern two-piece mold in Flat Silver, though notably, the Mark 1 lacks the flip-up visor functionality of later suits, using a single solid-mold helmet piece with printed eyes and vent details.
Torso
Flat Silver torso with detailed mechanical printing depicting the crude, 'built in a cave' aesthetic. Features the exposed wiring, scrap metal plating, and the iconic central Arc Reactor. Dark bluish grey hands.
Legs
Flat Silver legs with extensive printing on the front and hips. The print shows 'scavenged' mechanical parts, exposed hydraulics, and mismatched plating consistent with the Mark 1's assembly from missile parts.
Accessories
Typically comes with 2 Trans-Light Blue power blasts (repulsors/boosters) and 2 Trans-Light Blue round 1x1 plates. A clear neck bracket is often included for flight posing.
Color Scheme
Monochromatic Flat Silver base with Dark Bluish Grey accents, black line work for plating, and a Trans-Light Blue/White glow for the Arc Reactor.
Printing Details
High-quality pad printing on the torso (front and back) and legs (front only). The design successfully captures the 'gritty' look of the original 2008 movie suit via intricate thin-line mechanical detailing.
Variants
This sh565 version is the only official LEGO Mark 1 produced in Flat Silver. A very early concept-style version existed in the 2013 'Iron Man vs. The Mandarin' set, but it was vastly different in design.
Condition Notes
The Flat Silver plastic is prone to showing 'swirl marks' from the molding process. Common wear includes silver paint rubbing off the sharp edges of the helmet and torso corners. Check for 'neck cracks' on the torso, a common issue with silver-pigmented LEGO plastic.
Estimated Value
New/Mint: $15–$25; Used Complete: $10–$18; Loose Parts: $5–$8. Value has remained steady as it is a core suit for Hall of Armor collectors.
Price (New)
Originally available in Set 76125 for $59.99 USD. The figure itself accounted for roughly 20-25% of the set's secondary market value upon release.
Compatible Sets
76125 Iron Man Hall of Armor (2019).
Character Background
The Mark 1 was the first Iron Man suit built by Tony Stark and Ho Yinsen in a cave while in captivity. It represents the origin of the MCU and Stark's transition from arms dealer to superhero.
Design Notes
LEGO designers opted for a custom helmet print to simulate the rough, welded look of the MK1 rather than using the standard Iron Man visor mold. The use of Flat Silver instead of Metallic Silver gives it a more 'industrial' and less 'shiny' feel.
Similar Minifigures
Iron Man Mark 5 (sh566), Iron Man Mark 41 'Bones' (sh567), and Iron Man Mark 50 (sh496).
Collectibility
High. It is considered a 'must-have' for completionists attempting to build a full LEGO Hall of Armor, as it is the chronological starting point of the character's armory.
History
For years, fans requested a movie-accurate Mark 1. LEGO finally delivered this version 11 years after the original movie's release as part of the 10th-anniversary celebrations of the MCU.
Interesting Facts
The printing on the legs actually includes small gold-colored highlights to represent exposed copper wiring, a detail often missed by casual collectors.
Display Suggestions
Best displayed in a recessed 'Hall of Armor' alcove or in a desert-themed MOC alongside a Ho Yinsen custom figure. Use a clear posing bar to simulate the initial takeoff flight.
Modification Potential
Pairs well with custom flame-thrower accessories or 'exhaust' pieces to mimic its escape from the Ten Rings camp. The torso is also popular for custom Fallout 'Power Armor' builds.
Overall Assessment
An excellent representation of a pivotal MCU moment. The detail is superior to many other 'filler' Iron Man suits, making it a standout figure for both display and investment.
