Light Flesh, dual-sided printing: one side features a slight smirk with raised eyebrows, the other side shows a scared/frightened expression. The figure is missing its wavy dark orange/tan hair piece (part 92081) in the image.
Torso
Sand Green with dark brown suspenders, a yellow-ochre undershirt detail at the neck, and 4 small buttons. Light flesh hands. Back printing includes the continuation of the brown suspenders.
Legs
Dark Brown short legs (fixed, non-articulated), representing Hobbit stature.

Color Scheme
Earth-toned palette: Sand Green, Dark Brown, and Light Flesh with minor yellow/tan accents.
Printing Details
High-quality pad printing typical of the 2012 licensed era. Crisp lines on the suspenders and precise alignment for the dual-sided head expressions.
Variants
One major variant exists (lor065) from 2013 where he wears Gondorian armor. This 2012 version is the 'Shire' or 'Fellowship' traveling version.
Condition Notes
The figure in the image is in 'Incomplete' condition (missing hair and left hand). Check for nicks on the neck stud and torso cracks under the arms, common in sand green plastic transitions.

Compatible Sets
Set 9472: Attack on Weathertop (2012).
Character Background
Peregrin 'Pippin' Took is a hobbit of the Shire and one of the four hobbits in the Fellowship of the Ring. Known for his curiosity and playfulness, he eventually becomes a Guard of the Citadel of Minas Tirith.
Design Notes
The use of Sand Green for the torso was a specific choice to match the cinematic costume from Peter Jackson's trilogy. This was one of the first hobbit designs to move away from the 'Classic Yellow' look used in older historical themes.
Similar Minifigures
Merry Brandybuck (lor016), Frodo Baggins (lor002), and Samwise Gamgee (lor004).
Collectibility
High. Lord of the Rings minifigures have seen massive appreciation in value since the theme was discontinued in 2014.
History
Launched in the summer of 2012 to coincide with the hype for 'The Hobbit' films, though this figure specifically represents the first Lord of the Rings film.
Interesting Facts
Despite being a main character, this specific 'civilian' version of Pippin has only ever appeared in one LEGO set, making him harder to find than Frodo.
Display Suggestions
Best displayed alongside Merry (lor016) in a Weathertop MOC or a Shire-inspired vignette. Requires a UV-protected case as light flesh printing can fade over decades.
Modification Potential
Excellent for rural/peasant MOCs due to the generic but detailed 19th-century style suspender torso.
Overall Assessment
A highly desirable licensed figure from a 'Golden Era' theme. While the current sample is incomplete, the torso and head are the most distinct components. Finding the correct hair piece (92081 in Dark Orange) is recommended to restore its value.
