Theme
Marvel Super Heroes
Year Released
2017 - Released as part of the second wave of the stylized Mighty Micros sub-theme.
Rarity
Common to Uncommon. While it appeared in a single, affordable set, the Mighty Micros series was widely produced but is now retired.
Head
Bright green head with a comic-style determined/grinning expression featuring white eyes and black outlines. Topped with a short, messy black hair piece (mold 18226).
Torso
Bright green torso with simplified comic-book style muscle definition (six-pack and pectorals) in black linework. Back printing features continuation of muscle lines. Green arms and green hands.
Legs
Short, non-bending legs. Dark purple hip piece with bright green legs, representing his iconic ripped purple pants through a dual-molded or high-quality print transition.
Accessories
None included with the figure itself in the image, though in its original set, it was paired with a micro-build vehicle and a giant chicken leg accessory.
Color Scheme
Classic Hulk palette: Bright green skin and Dark Purple shorts with black hair. High contrast, saturated colors typical of the Mighty Micros art style.
Printing Details
Simple but clean pad printing. The style is intentionally 'cartoony' with thick black outlines, which was the signature aesthetic of the Mighty Micros line.
Variants
This is the Micros version. Other versions include the standard Marvel scale (sh013), the 'BigFig' versions (various), and the Avengers/MCU movie variants.
Condition Notes
Common wear points include the neck post (cracking) and the top of the hair piece (paint rubbing). Short legs are sturdy, but hip tension can loosen over time.
Estimated Value
Used: $3.00 - $6.00 USD. New/Mint: $8.00 - $12.00 USD. The value remains relatively low due to the 'stylized' nature which many collectors find less desirable than standard minifigures.
Price (New)
$9.99 USD retail for the set 76071, which included two figures (Hulk and Spider-Man) and two micro-vehicles.
Compatible Sets
76071 Mighty Micros: Spider-Man vs. Scorpion (Note: This figure specifically comes from 76071 Spider-Man vs. Scorpion where Hulk is the pilot).
Character Background
Bruce Banner, transformed by Gamma radiation into the Hulk. This version is a 'super-deformed' or 'chibi' take on the character based on classic comic book appearances.
Design Notes
First time Hulk was produced in a standard minifigure scale with short legs to emphasize a 'micro' feel compared to BigFigs. Features the unique 'Mighty Micros' white-eyed face design.
Similar Minifigures
sh240 Captain America (Mighty Micros), sh241 Iron Man (Mighty Micros), and sh496 Thor (Mighty Micros).
Collectibility
Moderate. It is a niche collectible popular for fans of the Mighty Micros aesthetic or those completing a 'Hulk' character museum. Not a primary investment piece.
History
Part of LEGO's 2016-2018 experiment to provide cheaper, stylized character packs with vehicles, distinct from the main cinematic or standard comic lines.
Interesting Facts
The Hulk in this set is actually paired with Spider-Man in a 'vs' pack, despite them both being heroes, following the Mighty Micros tradition of playful pairings.
Display Suggestions
Best displayed in a dedicated CMF-style case or alongside other Mighty Micros to maintain the consistent 'short-legged' theme.
Modification Potential
The head and hair are popular for creating custom 'Gecko' or 'Gamma-irradiated' characters. The short purple legs are useful for custom comic-era Robin or other heroes.
Overall Assessment
A fun, stylized variant of a legendary character. While not the 'definitive' Hulk, it is a quirky piece of LEGO history with great color and unique charm.
