Dominant Dark Blue with Silver, Sand Blue (head), and Light Blue accents.

Printing Details

High-quality pad printing on the helmet, head, torso (front/back), and legs (front). Very sharp mechanical alignment characteristic of 2016-era Marvel figures.

sh066 (Iron Man 3 version), sh564 (Endgame version), and sh645 (White Quantum Suit). This is the 'sh214' Civil War variant.

Character Background

Colonel James 'Rhodey' Rhodes, Tony Stark's best friend, piloting the War Machine Mark III suit as seen during the internal conflict of the Avengers in Captain America: Civil War.

Design Notes

Uses the newer hinged helmet mold introduced in 2012. The dark blue color choice was a stylistic shift from the traditional black/grey to represent the specific lighting/finish of the film's suit.

Similar Minifigures

Iron Patriot (sh084), Iron Man MK 46 (sh254), Falcon (sh253).

Collectibility

High. Since it is a unique variant from a core movie and constrained to a single set, it remains a stable investment for Marvel collectors.

History

Released during the transition from simplified comic designs to highly detailed movie-accurate prints. This was the first War Machine to feature leg printing.

Interesting Facts

Despite the character appearing in many movies, this specific dark blue color scheme has only been used for two War Machine figures (this and sh564).

Display Suggestions

Display alongside Captain America (Civil War) and Iron Man MK 46 to recreate the airport battle. Use a trans-clear bar to pose him mid-flight.

Modification Potential

Excellent for MOCs; the dark blue legs and torso are popular for futuristic soldiers or custom Iron Man armors.

Overall Assessment

9/10. A standout figure for the Marvel theme with excellent print coverage and film accuracy. A must-have for completing the Civil War roster.
