Figure ID

uagt013

Theme

Ultra Agents

Year Released

2015

Rarity

Uncommon. Exclusive to one of the larger sets in a short-lived theme.

Head

Yellow classic skin tone, eyebrows, and a serious expression. In this image, it is covered by a standard blue helmet with a trans-black visor.

Torso

Black torso with dark red and silver plate armor printing, featuring a central green swirl logo (Antimatter's emblem). Back printing includes matching armor details. Arms are black; hands are black.

Legs

Plain blue legs with no printing. In the image, these are standard 2x1 height legs.

Accessories

The figure is shown with a blue helmet and trans-black visor, plus a lime green staff with a red flag. The official set inclusion also featured a large black cape with a trans-purple flame piece.

Color Scheme

A mix of black and dark red for the body, accented by classic LEGO blue for the legs and helmet. Features lime green detailing in the emblem.

Printing Details

High-quality pad printing on the torso front and back. The armor plating design is intricate, resembling high-tech fantasy gear. Head printing is standard crispness for mid-2010s.

Variants

This is the core version of the villain. Antimatter occasionally appeared in different gear configurations in the accompanying app and promotional art.

Condition Notes

The torso print is fairly durable, but the blue legs are prone to typical scuffing. Visors often show scratches over time. Check for neck-ring stress marks.

Estimated Value

Used: $8 - $12 USD. Complete with cape and staff: $15 - $20 USD. Part of a niche theme, limiting massive price spikes.

Price (New)

Originally released in set 70170 (Ultra Agents Ocean HQ) which retailed for $99.99 USD in 2015.

Compatible Sets

Character Background

Antimatter is the primary antagonist of the second wave of Ultra Agents. He was once an agent named Solomon Blaze's partner who fell into a dark portal and was corrupted.

Design Notes

The torso print uses a 'swirl' portal motif that defines his powers. The choice of dark red over black evokes a corrupted tech aesthetic.

Similar Minifigures

Ultra Agents villains like Terabyte or Psyclone; also shares aesthetic similarities with some Nexo Knights villains or Galaxy Squad bugs.

Collectibility

Moderate. Ultra Agents is a cult classic theme among AFOLs (Adult Fans of LEGO) because of its unique aesthetic and integration with digital apps.

History

Ultra Agents was a successor to Agents (2008) and Galaxy Squad, focusing on high-tech heroics and app-based interaction during the 2014-2015 era.

Interesting Facts

The character was the first LEGO villain to have a major story tie-in with a standalone tablet application, where he acted as the final boss.

Display Suggestions

Display alongside other Ultra Agents villains in a tech-focused shelf. Best shown with his trans-purple cape to capture the character's 'energy' silhouette.

Modification Potential

The torso is excellent for custom dark knight or sci-fi villain MOCs. The blue legs are generic and easily swapped for more detailed armored legs.

Overall Assessment

A solid villain figure from one of LEGO's most creative in-house themes of the 2010s. While this specific one lacks the specialty cape, it remains a cool sci-fi aesthetic piece.
